Brie Trenerry Not A Peep (Smoke & Mirrors #2)

Opening: Tuesday 10 June, 6-8pm Dates: 10-28 June 2003

Brie Trenerry completed a Masters of Fine Art at RMIT in 2002 and is currently working towards her PhD in Screen Cultures, School of Media and Communication, RMIT. She co-founded Moonlight Cinema Adelaide in 1995 and Kings ARI in 2003, whilst simultaneously exhibiting her work in Australia. She now primarily works with video and digital media and has taught video production/post production at VCA, VUT, PSC and RMIT since 2003. Since 2006, Trenerry has exhibited her work both locally and internationally in galleries and festivals including: Westspace, Melbourne; White Night, Melbourne; Artspace, Sydney; Video Arte Australia y Nueva Zelanda, Santiago Chile; PICA ,Perth; The Directors Lounge, Berlin; ICA London; and The AC Institute, Chelsea, New York. Forthcoming in 2016 is Eden Park in collaboration with Kieran Boland at MARS Gallery, Melbourne. Trenerry’s work has been featured in a number of publications including Photofile and Australian Art Collector. She is the curator of the MARS Gallery video black box. Brie Trenerry lives and works in Melbourne.
