Jacob Raupach, Silo Study I (2015)
- Edition of 5 + AP
Jacob Raupach is an artist based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, graduating from Charles Sturt University with a BA in Photography (Honours)(First Class) in 2013. Jacob’s work is concerned with the relationships between industry, labour, history and failure; in particular, how photography, sculpture and ephemera can contribute towards alternate historical narratives and critiques of these intertwining systems. His work continuously tries to address these issues through an examination of regional areas dealing with the flux of the post-industrial landscape and information economy. He has recently exhibited at the Centre for Contemporary Photography (Melbourne), Bus Projects (Melbourne), Blindside (Melbourne), Wagga Wagga Art Gallery (Wagga Wagga), The Photography Room (Canberra), Galerie Pavlova (Berlin), and Gaffa Gallery (Sydney) amongst others.
