Elizabeth McInnes (1991) is an Australian curator and artist. Her research centres around institutional critique and expanded curatorial praxis. McInnes painting and drawing practice explores fantastical darkness and eccentricity born out of tragedy; a humour that arises from having boundaries pressured and flexed, both personal and material. She is currently the director and founder of Discordia, a Melbourne-based platform for contemporary art and discourse, and previously director of Conch, a nomadic gallery and platform for experimental publishing and curatorial practice.
