Saskia Doherty is an early career artist and writer living and working on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
Select recent group exhibitions and performance events include the TarraWarra Biennial 2016: Endless Circulation at the TarraWarra Museum of Art, Healesville; It's hard to hear the distance between the wind and the waves breaking at Bus Projects, Melbourne; two separate performance works as a part of Liquid Architecture's 2015 program, Capitalist Surrealism and Time Out Of Time, at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne & TarraWarra Museum of Art respectively; and in both iterations of the group exhibition Concrete, at the Monash University Museum of Art, Melbourne in 2014 and Tophane-i Amire Arts and Culture Centre, Istanbul, in 2015. Doherty has held solo exhibitions at West Space; The Substation; c3 Contemporary Art Space, the Fitzroy Public Library, and Platform Contemporary Art Space.
