Roma Turnbull-Coulter is an emerging artist based in Melbourne. Her art practice includes painting, drawing, photography, video, performance and sculpture. She attends Monash Caulfield Childcare Centre. Roma’s first exhibition was in 2016 when she was invited to collaborate with her mother Meredith Turnbull in the group exhibition “Mum” at the Stockroom in Kyneton, curated by Claire Needham. She has subsequently gone on to show with her parents in the annual c3 fundraiser, “Faux Studio,” in 2016. Roma has exhibited with her contemporaries from MCCC at the end of year exhibition at Monash University Museum of Art for the past two years.

Ross Coulter is a Melbourne-based artist. His practice includes photography, painting, performance, video and installation. He has exhibited locally and internationally at a variety of public institutions and artist-run spaces. His artwork “Audience” was presented in 2017 at the National Gallery of Victoria and he self-published a two-volume book by the same name. He has been the recipient of a number of awards, grants and residencies. The most recent grant was from the Australia Council for the Arts for his series “Corporate Portraits,” photographed and presented in the community of Warburton where he grew up.

Dr Meredith Turnbull is a Melbourne-based artist. Meredith’s practice focuses on the world of things as the form-creating basis of culture. She is interesting in making and material, and the experiential and temporal register of forms. Her practice engages various disciplines and approaches to making, writing and curating. Her artworks engage diverse scales, art historical traditions and genres. Meredith has developed projects for the National Gallery of Victoria, the Heide Museum of Modern Art and the Ian Potter Museum of Art at Melbourne University. Recent works include the performance What does wearing something do? with Behn Woods at RMIT Design Hub in 2019 and the exhibition SHE TURNS at c3 Contemporary Art Space in 2017. Meredith is represented by Daine Singer, Melbourne.

Roma, Ross and Meredith live and work on the unceded land of the Yalukit Willam of the Eastern Kulin. They acknowledge the Boon Wurrung as the traditional custodians of this country, its land, waterways and skies, and pay respect to elders, past, present and emerging.
