On the beach - Book Club

Dates: Monday 30th March 6.30pm

This iteration of the On the beach book club features a virtual discussion of ‘Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl’, by Andrea Lawlor. This event will be held virtually. To join the conversation please RSVP.

‘On the beach’, is a feminist reading group, initiated in 2016, with a subscription audience who use it as a reading list, and a loosely organised book club, who meet for open and ongoing conversation about books, art and feminism. With a regular monthly meeting since 2014 we have now read over 50 texts including ‘My Year of Rest and Relaxation’ by Ottessa Moshfegh, ‘Wild Seed’ by Octavia Butler and ‘The Argonauts’ by Maggie Nelson.

In order to attend, you must have read most of the book. Please reserve your place for this event as numbers are limited.

On the beach is part of our ‘Housewarming’ series. ‘Housewarming’ will unfold as a series of events, performances, screenings, and readings virtual and in our new gallery space over our inaugural year at Collingwood Yards.
